Critiques
This is really a great shot, especially because the snail looked to the side when you took the photo! It gives the snail an conceited or snooty ego and the title " Towels please " supports this impression even more.
Seriously, I just like snails pretty much and that you took one with a yellow and black shell is even more striking, since I think that this is the clichê colour for these little invertebrate animals
Also I like how the background turned out. This blue/turquoise all around colour gives the whole image this " bathroom " feeling, especially in tandem with the waterdrops around the foam. I don´t know if there was something in the background before and you covered the rear part of the room in photoshop ( or whereever ), but if, than you seriously did a great work on this! Because the crossing between the ground, on which the snail is, and the rear remaining room appears flawless to me.
Furthermore I love the reflection of the snail, it´s a really nice touch! But exactly there is my only real critique point. There is some light, which was thrown by the camera I assume, and it relfects from the shell to the glass or ground below the snail. The light on the shell is really nice, but the reflection is out of place.
Though I love this photo very much, thanks to my snail weakness~
Hope this was ok, I usually critique a lot but always digital art
