I love these winter photos. Last year was hard, my brother inlaw died at age 59 in February, my Dad died in June, and we cared for mom at home with the help of hospice and she died in October of 2010. I've been painting and designing, but have had little time to relax or play. I'm 62, my sciatic nerve has decided to make it impossible to walk or bend, and sitting and standing doesn't feel very great either. That said I have an indomitable spirit, and I will never surrender and never give up. I like the photo of the old couple asleep on the bench to...it is very poignant. Life can be very hard, and old age is not for sissies.
