This was a lot to take in when I saw this photograph.... It really does demonstrates what type of world we are living in. People not helping other people... people and greed... That poor man. This is a great shot, but yet very moving. Great capture (=
This really makes a statement. I really like the blurry legs and people in the background. They're there but in their own little world. Part of me wants to see the dog in the plane of focus, but I do also like how your choice of focus suggests a state of zen. It seems to tell a story about the man and the snow where everyone else flits in and out with seeming inconsequence. Very well done.
This truly touched me, i got filled with emotions. I can't say it's a beautiful photograph because i would feel like i am saying that his suffering is beautiful, so i'm just gonna say that you captured an image of how the world is today. All it's cruelty, sadness, realism, is in this one photograph.
it...touched my heart... to tell you that the pic is incredible, is not necessary because you surely know or have been told a lot. but what you photographed, the depth of it, the plain reality of something so painful, so vivid, so real, is admirable. i suffered when i saw the pic, because i really sensed the pain of that man, the cold he must have had, and imagining where he could be today, hoping he found a warm place to stay, or an oportunity to get back his life. and i somehow...also felt like hugging him, to comfort him, to give him just a bit of human warmth.
i could say so many things, but they wouldn't end up explaining anything. i can just say that this is a terrible photograph...and "terrible" not refering to the quality of the pic which is obviously wonderful, but "terrible" because of the painful reality it stands for.
You already helped somehow, even when in a small amount, when taking that picture. sometimes that's all someone can do, but it's still more than what others do when passing along without noticing. Thank you.
